Dr. Jillian Douglas is a certified diabetes educator who offers advice on diabetes prevention, including lifestyle modifications and medications for patients who are at high risk for developing diabetes.

Dr. Douglas educates and empowers diabetes patients with knowledge about their disease to help them develop lifestyle changes and healthy habits. Dr. Douglas takes a personal approach to patient education and treatment, considering each patient’s health needs and goals.
Obesity Treatment
Dr. Douglas provides assessment and treatment of obesity (being overweight). Dr. Douglas will develop individualized meal plans based on your nutritional needs and lifestyle to help promote weight loss and healthy weight management.
Obesity is usually based on your body mass index (BMI). Weight and height are compared to determine your BMI. A BMI of between 25 to 29.9 indicates that you are overweight, but not obese. A BMI of over 30 is considered to be in the obese range.
